It is the most important temple of Deir el Bahari. The temple is partly dug into the rock and partly built externally, it was built between the seventh and twenty-first year of the reign of Hatshepsut. it was designed by Senmut the royal architect of Queen Hatshepsut .

- The Great Temple of Abu Simbel in Egypt, it was erected in 1240 BC by Ramses II for his pretty wife Nefertari. The high of temple about 33 meters , 38 meters wide and 62 meters deep. Four replicates of Ramses about 20 meter high guard the entrance. This temple is located in south of Egypt , on the western bank of Lake Nasser about 230 km southwest of Aswan.
