The Coptic Museum – Cairo


- The museum is situated by southern gate of the fortress of babylon. currently the museum is open to public from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays. The building which houses the coptic museum was the former place of morcos smeika , it has been used as a museum since 1908 , though not officially opened until 1910 and became a national museum in 1931. since 1947 when a large new wing was opened the collection has grown to over 15.000 objects .

I get many tourists., Plenty in the summer. In the summer, many Swedes are out of the city at a country house. The city and the old town (Gamla Stan) is filled with tourists.

I do not think Swedes are not overtly rude or xenophobic to tourists in the touristy areas. There is some racism against non-euro immigrants but it more of a problem in the job market or finding housing. This is not a problem directed at tourists.To know more visit here.
